The formation of a socio-psychological worldview in line with present-day realities is complicated by existing stereotypes of traditional models of interaction, reinforced by outdated communication resources.

The research methodology includes theoretical and empirical studies of the causal determination of mental phenomena, their necessity and orderliness; the degree of maximum approximation of objective images to the objects that reflect reality; the correspondence of reactions to the strength and frequency of external stimuli; and the ability to change behavior depending on changes in life situations.

The survey revealed that “social support” is a significant compensator for negative factors. A “breaking point” was identified, that is, the conditions under which the group climate becomes critical.

The hypothesis was confirmed that during wartime, internal conflicts are perceived more acutely due to general psychological exhaustion. In this context, the analysis clearly showed that the greatest influence on the socio-psychological climate in a group is exerted by mutual support and trust within the collective; to a lesser extent, by the presence or absence of free time and socio-psychological interaction with teachers and course officers. Factors that reduce tension include a sequence of conditions: the availability of free time, participation in organized leisure activities with fellow students, and the opportunity to communicate with close ones. The absence or lack of free time and personal space worsens the socio-psychological climate.

Promising communication pathways and management models were identified as a democratic style of governance and a partnership-based communication style with teachers and leadership. The availability of forms of socio-psychological support was established and ranked as follows: communication with friends and relatives, individual consultations with a psychologist, and group trainings for socio-psychological support.
