The article is devoted to the study of the psychological resource of the individual as an important factor in overcoming stress. It examines the factors that influence the formation of this resource, as well as ways to use it to effectively respond to stressful situations. Particular attention is paid to such aspects as psychological stability, emotional intelligence, optimism, self-regulation and other qualities that contribute to a person's adaptation to life's difficulties and crises. The analysis of this topic allows us to understand the mechanisms of psychological well-being in more depth and improve approaches to psychological support and stress management in modern conditions.

A thorough study of the components of the psychological resource of the individual makes it possible to understand how it determines a person's ability to act constructively in conditions of stress and life's difficulties. A high level of self-awareness, emotional balance, psychological well-being, confidence in one's own abilities, as well as the ability to maintain positive thinking even in crisis situations significantly strengthen the internal potential of the individual. It is these qualities that help a person adapt to change, control their emotions, and find effective ways to solve problems.

An equally important role in the development of psychological resources is played by the social environment. Support from loved ones, friends, colleagues or the community creates a sense of security, acceptance and confidence, which has a positive effect on a person’s psychological state. Social ties can act as a source of emotional support, motivation and inner strength necessary to overcome stressful situations and life crises. Thus, the combination of personal qualities and external support forms the basis of psychological resilience and contributes to effective stress management.

The article is aimed at a deeper understanding of the psychological resource of the individual as one of the main factors in effectively overcoming stress and life difficulties. It reveals the main components of this resource, the features of its formation and ways of practical application to strengthen psychological resilience, develop adaptive capabilities and increase a person’s ability to successfully respond to the challenges of modern society.
